fanboy
(noun) A male fan, especially one who is obsessive about comics, music, movies, or science fiction.1
Most of my life, I have been a fan of comic book, fantasy, and sci-fi series like Batman, Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and many others. I have watched, read, and listened to many movies, books, and books on tape regarding these entertainment franchises. It is so much fun to think about the stories and what it would be like to go to the worlds in them. But, at the end of the day, I have always found myself longing for something more.
Over the course of my life, I have found that the Bible is the ultimate epic series that satisfies that longing I have felt with other stories. No matter how many times I read and study the Bible, there is always more to learn and discover. To me, most of the Bible (especially the Old Testament) reads like the Lord of the Rings, except when I come to the end, I realize that I am in the story!
With this website, I hope to show people how awesome the biblical epic is. As the website develops, I plan on writing about biblical characters, symbols, and stories. I want to not only show how cool much of the Bible is, but also how we can know that it is true and that we are in the story ourselves.
Blessings to you,
